  •  If you have older children living with you who are earning by way of a job or social welfare, could they be contributing towards household expenses? eg Rent, Food etc
  •  Could you reduce your outgoings? eg. Make your own lunch? give up or smoke less? cut down on daily/weekly spending? 
  •  Could you save by shopping around for better bargains? Where do you do your grocery shopping, its time to shop smartly look at store brands?  Always bring a list and stick to it to avoid impulse buying. Earn with loyalty cards, watch the ads for the latest offers.

  •  Could you shop around for a better mortgage rate, cheaper insurance, lowest interest rates on credit etc?
  • Next time your insurance premium is up for renewal, price around for the best value cover on Home/Motor/Health Insurance. If you do change insurance provider, double check that your new cover meets all your needs. Compare your old cover with your new one. 
  •  Look around local filling stations to see who is the cheapest for petrol/diesel. Is it cheaper to buy your petrol/diesel at weekends?
